In the beginning….

In The Beginning ( With apologies to Not The view )

At that time in the land known as Car-Luke the timites were few and much oppressed as they wandered aimlessly searching for the fabled land called Par a dise. Whenever two or more would gather together they would say one to another “Who can lead us out of this wilderness” but answer came there none .

Now it came to pass at this time that two men who were not of the Car-Luke tribe were engaged in missionary work among the sick and lame in the infirmary at Law (A dark and wild land where the natives ate their children) Joseph from the tribe of Clark in the land of Lan Ark & John from the tribe of Haddow from the fabled land of Shotts.

As they beheld the pathetic attempts of the Car-Luke tribe to journey to the sacred place, their hearts were move to pity for the poor bewildered Timities. So saying one to another “Let us go to the Gazzete and say unto the scribe ‘write this- There shall be a gathering of the Timities in the upper room of the hall they call The Well fare on an appointed date‘ ”

On the appointed date a great crowd gathered and there were representatives from every tribe: McKays, Cummings, Connelly, Dobbin, Duddy, McLean, Sanderson, Ferguson, Fisher and many others who were only there for the wine. Up spoke Joseph “My children your plight has touched our hearts wander alone no more but let us band together to journey through the wilderness to the shining land of Par a dise.” And so was born The Carluke Shambolic.
